APRIL 2012 TRAPPERS GATHERING AT  RAPAURA WATER GARDENS

Business first  . . . . . . trappers identifying animal pests

. . . . . then pleasure.  Sally and Sasha Sank host us and make us a banquet!!  Many thanks - it was delicious and wonderful.

HARVESTING KIWI EGGS

The harvested eggs are packed in a custom made box for hand-carrying to the waiting Zoo vehicle, for incubating and hatching. The unseen work behind each harvest combines the skills of kiwi practitioners, the dedication of a TCKC volunteer and the nose of a trained dog. Photos show Tommy Herbert and Diane Prince, and Neil John.
